Eagle Scout Award

At the August 2011 meeting Harrison Willis was presented with the VFW Department of Texas, “Eagle Scout of the Year” Award for 2005. Harrison was unable to accept the prestigious award in 2005 due to attending college which included an overseas scholarship.

Presenting the award was DFW Post 8235 Commander, Martin Agee 3rd. Martin said of Harrison, "It helps our members see the other things the VFW does when we present awards like this. I am sure he will be successful in life. I was honored to meet one of America’s future leaders."
